boxes

I hate boxes..
boxes mean something has to go in them...
that means packing....
i hate packing...
we're packing for a good reason...but i still dont' like it...

last night there was an amazing storm in the big country....that's something i'll miss...
watching storms from 11 stories up from up to 60 miles away, is amazing confirmation of God's power!
i got some good lightening pics... i'll try to post later after James puts on some pants and goes down to get the card reader...nevermind...

It's hard to grasp sometimes the changes that take place in your life..
i got to Abilene over four years ago, and i can't honestly believe i've been here that long.
It's a transitional place really, most people come for school and then leave to follow their dreams or their boyfriends...
as much as i've wanted to leave the last year, there are things i'll miss..

a few:
~west texas sunsets ( those of you who know me know that i am somewhat of an art freak, sunsets here are of colors that only teh Lord could create...they're amazing...each one is different...its abstract from the hand of God)

~storms...now im not talking about the hamburger place in Hamilton, i'm talking about thunderstorms ( although i will miss the other one too!)

~the people...while most of our friends have already moved away, the people in Texas are one of a kind

~ the friends and family...it's going to be much harder than i ever imagined to be so far away from so many people that i love so dearly...

~Cajun cones- man i love those things..if you've lived here you know that they are the best snow cones and creams in the world

~Mexican food...no such thing in Cooperstown, N.Y. ...seriously, i've asked

~a big church- or a medium sized church- the singing at Southern Hiills is amazing...i'm trying to stay positive and think that the 18 people that attend the Cooperstown COC can make as much beautiful music as i'm used to....

there are more but these are the only ones that i can think of right now


on a happier note....Angus ( the black dog) almost talked today...James' aunt Sheree can vouch for that..

I had a lot of water at dinner...
